Description

Strategy PUNKT comprises three indicators. Two in the main chart window (CandleMidPoint measures weighted average price value, and Regression Channel) and one in the subwindow (CCI). After installation, it will look like this:

Recommended trading pairs are: EUR/USD, AUD/USD, USD/CHF, GBP/USD, EUR/JPY, EUR/JPY but you may also try others. We are interested in M1 timeframe as we want to trade binary options. If you want to trade Forex or Crypto, use H1 or higher timeframes.

Entry Rules

Three conditions should be met for the entry.

Buy signal

1. The channel is pointing upwards, at least 15 degrees.

2. The distance between the last two dots is more than 2.5 - 3 pips, and the last dot is located higher than the previous one.

3. CCI line in subwindow is in the top zone for at least last two bars.

Entry at opening of the next bar. Expiry one bar.

Example:

Sell signal

1. The channel is pointing downwards, at least 15 degrees.

2. The distance between the last two dots is more than 2.5 - 3 pips, and the last dot is located lower than the previous one.

3. CCI line in subwindow is in the bottom zone for at least last two bars.

Entry at opening of the next bar. Expiry one bar.

Recommendations

1. At the beginning it may look difficult to correctly identify the distance between the last two dots, but once you get used to this strategy you will spot it at a glance. Just takes some practice.

2. Follow risk and money management rules. Create your own trading plan, don’t overtrade.

3. Don’t use Martingale.

4. Avoid trading 15 min before and after high volatility news.

5. Avoid trading when the market moves sideways (in flat).

6. Try this strategy on demo first until you feel comfortable to trade with real money.
